You may have an interest in recreating the vision of your organization or
establishing an entirely new direction. In either case, CMI's Mission/Vision
intervention would be of interest. CMI has developed a unique process that
exceeds our client's expectations.
The
process is based on the work of two Business school professors, James
Collins and Jerry Porras, authors of the best selling book, Built To Last.
The process takes place over three 8-hour days (back to back or spread out
over time.)

Day 1 |
 |
Day one is about discovering your organization's core ideology. The
morning is occupied with defining the organization's reason for being. The
afternoon is about discovering and articulating the organizational values.
We start with the individual's perspectives and end up with the group's
agenda.

 |
Day 2 |
 |
Day 2 is about creating the envisioned future of the organization. The
AM segment consists of designing "Big Hairy Audacious Goals" - BHAGs for
short. These goals focus the organization into positive activity. They need
to be positive and have the potential for galvanizing action. The PM segment
concentrates on distinguishing a positive future for the business that will
exist 10-20 years from now.

Day 3 |
 |
Day 3 is the most critical part of the intervention. The participants
begin aligning the organization behind the new vision. Detailed "Next Steps"
and Action Plans will be finalized.
