Since 1984, Bruce Hodes has dedicated his professional life to helping
companies grow and develop into powerful performance cultures. Bruce
has an MBA from Northwestern University and a Masters Degree in Clinical
Social Work. As a business consultant and a former psychotherapist,
Bruce brings a very diverse blend of skills and education to his work
with teams, business leaders and executives. He has developed a number
of unique and powerful tools to help business people improve their
ability to perform individually and in groups. Bruce has also developed
techniques for small and mid sized companies to conduct business
planning and strategy sessions. This has been developed into a
methodology called, Breakthrough Business Planning. This
methodology is also useful for departments and corporate divisions.
Bruce has worked extensively with privately held companies from five to
forty-five million dollars in size. He is an expert in working with
family owned companies and brings an insightful perspective to coaching
and developing these companies. CMI has worked significantly in the
food processing, manufacturing, insurance, health care administration,
technology, staffing and commercial laundry sectors demonstrating their
diverse skill-set and adaptability. Bruce has coached and planned with
numerous companies that have experienced real tangible revenue growth.
Recently CMI’s work has been featured in the Chicago Tribune Newspaper
and Industrial Launderer Magazine.
Bruce is a speaker for The Executive Committee with TEC. He has spoken
to and worked with their groups of CEO’s throughout the United States
and Canada. Bruce has given presentations at numerous international
conferences including, Dust Control Association, INC Magazine’s,
“Growing the Company Conference” and “Customer Service Conferences.”
Bruce has also coached and worked in the Chicago Public School System,
and other Not For Profit Organizations.
Bruce is a prolific writer. He has written the following articles:
“Coaches Use Empowerment for Breakthrough Results,” “Coaching as a
Mentoring Tool,” “Diary of a Change Agent,” “A New Foundation in
Business Culture: Managerial Coaching,” and “Creating Customer Focused
Work Teams.” He has also published The Coach’s Handbook and put
together two booklets of inspirational quotes for creating culture
change.
